1st IOA Athlete's Session

36 medallists and Olympians are coming for 3 days to Ancient Olympia to participate to the 1st ever 'IOA Athlete's session" :

Alireza Rezaei (IRA)
Wrestler (120kg Freestyle) won the Silver Medal at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games.

Alison Williamson (GB)
Archer athlete, won Bronze Medal at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games.

Beata Siti (HUN)
Handball player, won Bronze Medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, and Silver Medal at 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.

Christos Papanikolaou (GRE)
Pole vaulter athlete, finished 4th at the 1968 Mexico Olympic Games.

Chu Mu-Yen (CHI TAI)
Taekwondo athlete (58kg), won a Gold Medal at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games.

Debbie Watson (AUS)
Water polo athlete, won the Gold Medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.

Dick Fosbury (USA)
Track and field athlete, won the Gold Medal in the high jump at the 1968 Mexico Olympic Games, with the “Fosbury flop”.

Hicham EL Gurerrouj (MOR)
Track and field athlete, won the Silver Medal in Sydney and 2 Gold medals in Athens, 1500m and 5000m.

Gabriela Szabo (ROM)
Track and field athlete, competed in Atlanta and Sydney Olympics, winning a Silver Medal (1996) in the 1500m, and a Bronze (2000) and Gold Medal (2000) in the 1500m and 5000m.

Ganna Sorokina (UKR)
Diving athlete, won a Bronze Medal in synchronized diving (3m springboard) at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.

Gaston Roelands (BEL)
Track and field athlete, won a Gold Medal at the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games in the 3000m Steeplechase.

Maria Georgatou (GRE)
Gymnastic athlete, won a Bronze Medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games in Rhythmic Gymnastics (Group Competition).

Grzergoz Kotowicz (POL)
Polish canoeing athlete, won a Bronze Medal in the K-2 1000m (1992) and a Bronze Medal in K-4 1000m (2000).

Guin Batten (GB)
Rowing athlete, won a Silver Medal in Rowing Quadruple Scull (2000).

Hadi Soua’an Al-Somaily (KSA)
Track and field athlete, won a Silver Medal in 400m Hurdles at the 2000 Olympics.

Ivans Klementjev (LAT)
Canoeing athlete. Won Gold in 1988, Silver in 1992 and Silver in 1996 in the C-1 1000m event.

Kornelija Kvesic (Former YUG)
Former Yugoslavia Basketball player, won Silver Medal in Seoul 1988.

Kvetoslava Peckova (CZE)
Won medal in Skiing.

Lee Evans (USA)
Track and field athlete, won two Gold Medal at the 1968 Mexico Olympics (400m and 4x400m relay).

Meike Evers (GER)
Rowing athlete, won two Gold Medals (Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004) in the quadruple sculls without coxs.

Marjut Rolig (FIN)
Cross-country skiing athlete, won a Silver Medal (15km Mass Start) and a Gold Medal (5km) at the 1992 Albertville Olympic Games.

Mohamed Aly (EGY)
Egyptian boxer athlete, won a Silver Medal (+91kg – super-heavyweight) at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games.

Nikola Kuljaca (SER)
Water polo athlete, won a Bronze Medal at the 2000 Olympic Games and a Silver Medal at the 2004 Olympic Games.

Patrick Sang (KEN)
Track and field athlete, won a Silver Medal in 3000m Steeplechase at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games.

Per Elofsson (SWE)
Cross-Country athlete, won Bronze Medal in 10km + 10km combined pursuit at the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Games.

Rogerio Sampaio (BRA)
Judo athlete, won a Gold Medal in -66kg at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games

Shannon Miller (USA)
Gymnastic athlete, won 7 Olympic Medals. Two Silver Medal and three Bronze Medal at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, and two Gold Medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games.

Taufik Hidayat (IND)
Badminton athlete won a Gold Medal at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games.

Thomas Bimis (GRE)
Diving athlete, won a Gold Medal at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, in the synchronized springboard.

Udomporn Polsak (THA)
Weightlifting athlete (53kg), won a Gold Medal at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games.

Vania Gesheva (BUL)
Kayak athlete, won a Silver Medal at the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games in the K-1 500m event.

Victoria Latta (NZ)
Equestrian athlete, won a Silver Medal at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, and a Bronze Medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, both at the Team Mixed event.

Petros Galaktopoulos (GRE)
